Five layers on top of a proven core
The proprietary TrueGrain laminate is five bonded layers, each with one job.
- Scratch-resistant top layerA clear, hard wear surface that stands up to foot traffic, patio furniture, and pets.
- UV protection layerShields the wood-grain print and the layers beneath it from the sun.
- Rotogravure wood-grain printA high-resolution print with the grain, pores, and tonal shifts of real hardwood.
- PMMA base with solar-reflective technologyAn acrylic base that reflects part of the sun's heat and gives the laminate a stable backbone.
- Bonding layerLocks the laminate permanently to the cellular PVC board.

Do TrueGrain boards install differently?
No. They install like every AmeriDex board: face screwed with Starborn screws, two per joist, and finished with color-matched plugs.
