American-made PVC decking
PVC Decking Made in the USA
AmeriDex deck boards are cellular PVC with a proprietary ASA cap, made in Linden, New Jersey. Every board locks onto a Dexerdry seal, so the same deck that never needs stain also sheds rain off the surface and leaves a dry space below.

Seven colors, built into the cap
Solid colors give a clean, even look. Variegated colors carry streaks that add depth and help hide pollen and leaf marks between cleanings. Screen colors vary, so order free samples to see them in your own light.
Planning a barefoot or pool deck? Darker colors like Slate and Redwood absorb more heat in direct sun. Driftwood, Khaki, Beachwood, and Hazelnut stay more comfortable. See the color guide.
PVC vs composite vs wood

| AmeriDex cellular PVC | Capped composite | Wood | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wood fiber in the board | None | Yes, under a cap | All wood |
| Water at cuts and scratches | Nothing to absorb it | Fiber can absorb water at cuts, scratches, or uncapped faces | Can absorb water and rot |
| Staining or sealing | Never | Check the maker's care guide | Every year or two |
| Rain stopped at the deck surface | Yes, with the Dexerdry seal | No, drips through gaps | No, drips through gaps |
One honest trade-off: PVC moves a bit more with temperature along its length than composite does. The full breakdown is in cellular PVC vs composite decking.
How it installs
- Conventional 16 inch on-center joists with 1/8 inch per foot of pitch away from the house.
- Grooved boards lock onto the Dexerdry seal. Solid edge boards are used at starts, edges, corners, and trim.
- Face screwed with Starborn epoxy-coated or stainless screws, two per joist, capped with color-matched plugs. No hidden clips.
- Boards can run parallel or perpendicular to the house.
- For new decks and qualifying re-decks where the old boards come off.

Easy care
Do
- Broom and garden hose for most days
- Mild soap, warm water, soft brush along the grain
- Oxygen bleach solution for tannin or mildew spots
Don't
- Pressure wash (it can create micro-tears in the cap and disturb the seal)
- Use solvents or abrasive cleaners
- Stain or seal the boards

Frequently asked questions
Is AmeriDex PVC decking made in the USA?
Yes. AmeriDex cellular PVC deck boards are manufactured in Linden, New Jersey, and the Dexerdry seal is also produced in the USA. Headquarters, sales, and the warehouse are in Brick, New Jersey.
What are AmeriDex PVC deck boards made of?
Cellular PVC with a proprietary ASA cap and a wood-grain finish. There is no wood fiber anywhere in the board, so a cut edge is just more PVC, with nothing to rot, swell, or feed mold.
What colors and lengths are available?
Seven colors: Driftwood, Khaki, and Slate are solid, and Beachwood, Chestnut, Redwood, and Hazelnut are variegated. Boards are stocked in 12, 16, and 20 foot lengths, and custom lengths up to 25 ft are available on request.
Do PVC deck boards need to be pre-drilled, stained, or sealed?
No. Cellular PVC does not need pre-drilling, and the color and protection are built into the ASA cap, so there is no sanding, staining, sealing, or repainting.
Can I use hidden fastener clips with AmeriDex?
No. The Dexerdry seal sits in the side groove that clips would use. Boards are face screwed with Starborn screws, two per joist, and capped with color-matched plugs.
What warranty comes with AmeriDex PVC decking?
The integrated board and seal system carries a 25-Year Residential Limited and 10-Year Limited Commercial warranty. Register your warranty within 30 days.
